2026-2027 Information

Safekey is a Pre-paid Program & Program Description is below:

Clark County Parks & Recreation Safekey is a before and after school recreational based program. It is offered to students in grades K-8 at participating schools. Safekey offers a healthy environment where participants will engage in, a variety of activities including indoor/outdoor individual and small group games, arts & crafts, our CCPR reading program, and provide an afternoon snack; all designed to enhance your child’s social growth. Clark County Safekey does not provide one-on-one care.

 

Safekey does not operate when school is not in session (teacher training, Winter Break, Spring Break etc.). A great alternative for Safekey participants is offered at several of Clark County’s Recreation Centers. Click here for a list of Clark County Community Centers.

 

Derfelt's Safekey Hours

Morning: 7:00 - 8:40 a.m.

Afternoon: 3:11 - 6:00 p.m.

 

1 Day Pass Per Child: Morning Drop-Off -$7.00 and Afternoon Drop-off -$10.00 (Needs to Pre-Paid Online)

There is a $20 registration fee per school year

All passes expire at the end of the current school year

No payment will be taken at the school please pay online or at the Las Vegas Customer Care Center: 500 S. Main st. M-f, 7:30a.m.-5:30p.m.
